Day 10 – Farewell day at sea

October 4, 2017July 19, 2020 By admin

Today is our last day on the ship! Time has gone quickly but we have enjoyed every minute.

This morning we took Chloe to watch the Towel Animal Theatre.

After lunch Silvia and Kylie went to another craft activity. This time we got to paint some letters. Kylie painted the word ‘Travel’ and Silvia painted the word ‘Explore’.
Except Silvia forgot to take the O with her when we left the class and she had to be paged over the ship for her to come and pick it up!

That afternoon Mother Nature put on a spectacular sunset for our last night on the ship! It was a truly epic sunset. It looked like the sun was dropping through the clouds like a molten coin. And then it hit the water and was gone.

The full moon rose after the sun had gone down.

After dinner we watched our last show on the ship, Epic Rock. A fitting end to the cruise. These guys put in their all every night to entertain us.

After the show Chloe got the opportunity to have her photo taken with the dancers and she was very excited!

Our towel animal today was a heart. Thanks Carnival! We had a great time!
